ABOUT THIS ALBUM:
We wrote and recorded a 4 song EP back in late 2013 and never really released it. Well, maybe for a few months and then deleted it off the internet forever, or so we thought.
But now, since we already wasted 5 years of our lives, we decided to re-record those songs from scratch. Here they are.
"Total power thud noise rock that seems to have true north in AC/DC's older works. Meaning, it's gross and heavy, and out of control, and most definitely not suitable for the elderly, but, it has a wink and a smile. And alcoholism. I'm guessing. I'm saying there is something Australian sounding about Grizzlor that belies their Connecticut mailing address. Australian like King Snake Roost, Feedtime, Lubricated Goat...not INXS. Their spirit animal is that dingo that ate your baby."
-Shiny Grey Monotone
"The Connecticut power trio Grizzlor revive their debut noise-rock release. 5 Wasted Years is a re-recorded EP that was never truly released in the first place. But five years later, it’s back with a lively vengeance. Crusty guitars finger away in all directions as erratic vocals bleach out in “Just Don’t Care”. The addicting head bobbing bass melody in “Head in the Clouds” pairs perfectly with rhythmic drums. Deep bass and sludgy instrumentals circulate in the spacey landscapes of “Shoot Me in the Head”. It’s one engaging, condensed listen."
-From Corners Unknown
"5 Wasted Years is the band's latest EP, which was released via Hermit Cave records on July 29th, 2018. On 5 Wasted Years, Grizzlor offer up four tracks of weird, ugly, and raw sounding AmRep influenced punk, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, 5 Wasted Years absolutely slays and makes for an amazing listen. Highly recommended! Enjoy!"

some homeless drunk wails on about the irony of trump supporters calling anyone cucks while the world's sloppiest coalesce cover band fucks around in the background. I was also going to bring up bodily fluids or something but someone else described them as cum flinging so they beat me to the punch. supercoolguy
Were the sun made out of guitar distortion and a coronal mass ejection obliterated the northern hemisphere, this is what it would sound like; chunky low-ass riffs and drums so massive and thick is makes my cock jealous. A must have if you're going on a drug-fueled rampage, being pursued by the cops while your bike's on fire, piloting a dieselpunk mech into battle, or someone tells you: "fuck me 'til one of us dies". Only criticism: the otherwise badass cover uses Calibri Italic for the title 🤨
